Telemetry
Twig3D beta collects usage data automatically while you use it. It records which tools ran, which built-in functions your scripts call (with counts and timings), the sizes and counts of inputs and outputs, errors by category, software versions, and update results. It never collects your scripts, argument values, file names or paths, geometry, names you choose, or error text. Raw records are kept for 90 days and daily totals for 400 days.
Collected automatically
- Harness health: which tool was called, how long it took, whether it worked, and the size of the request and response.
- Script usage: the names of built-in functions your scripts call, how many times, and how long each took.
- Data sizes: the size and count of imported files and exported results (bytes, triangles, cells), never the files themselves.
- Outcomes: errors and limits by category, such as out of memory or timeout.
- Software health: versions, operating system, update results, and the engine start-up result.
Never collected
- The text of your scripts or any value you pass to a tool.
- File names or paths.
- Geometry or meshes.
- Names you choose, such as your own function names.
- Error message text.
- Your email address and IP address are not stored with telemetry records.
Retention
Raw records are kept for 90 days. Daily totals are kept for 400 days.
